HR ADMIN

Who we are looking for:

The HR Administrator will provide expertise on a broad and comprehensive range of human resources activities, including onboarding, compensation, performance management, talent development, employment transactions, policy compliance, and other related HR functional areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative support to the Human Resources department
  • Maintains accurate and comprehensive personnel and office records.
  • Able to learn and navigate through HR information systems
  • Responds to internal and external Human Resources related inquiries from employees, department managers and other parties
  • Maintains records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates
  • Coordinates with payroll and benefits administration and answers related queries.
  • Assists with regular research and compliance initiatives regarding Human Resources issues
  • Works collaboratively with the HR team and is responsible for the integrity of the HRIS system acting as a main point of contact with regard to all employee status or changes including changes to compensation.
  • Supports the HR Team with HR analytics including monthly reporting.
  • Works with Directors and Leaders to expedite employee recognition letters, and other related endeavors.
  • Updates information in HRIS and maintains records to accurately reflect employee status as it pertains to payroll, compensation, benefits and other employment information.
  • Coordinates administration of benefit plans. Determines employees’ eligibility; processes enrolment/change forms; resolve benefits related issues and notifies employees of any changes.
  • Plans, organizes and conducts HRIS and other employment record audits; documents and reports on findings, and makes necessary amendments to records.
  • Answers staff queries and provides information and explanations related to policies, procedures, collective agreements, and benefit/pension plans. Develops and delivers training on job-related procedures and related tools.
  • Other duties assigned by Triple Eight Transport Inc.
