dont be a victim of fraud

Dear valued customer,

Nearly all email users in our community have recently been inundated with fraudulent emails from a number of sources including large organizations such as government, agencies, and several major Canadian Banks. In most cases, these emails ask for payment of an invoice and ask the user to click a link to view that invoice.
Once the invoice has been clicked, a virus is loaded onto your computer that runs behind the scenes and slowly tries to steal personal information and password information for banking and other sensitive websites, server information etc.

Recently we have been notified that some Triple Eight Transport Inc.’s customers are now also being attacked by these fraudulent emails.

Please be assured that these emails are NOT being sent from Triple Eight Transport. If you receive any requests for payments via email with links or any attachments other than .pdf from any Triple Eight Transport please call our Accounting Department staff to confirm the details by dialing 604.755.2285 Ext: 406. Also, to keep your computer safe and secure, DO NOT click on or open any of the attachments in that email including word or excel documents – they are not safe. If you receive any suspicious emails representing Triple Eight Transport, please let us know immediately via email to saideepakc@triple8.ca or call 604.743.4383.

Thank you for being a customer of Triple Eight Transport.
