Back in October Triple Eight introduced Blue Jean Friday. What's Blue Jean Friday? Well on Fridays we wear jeans, and those that wear jeans and make donations which will go to our charity of choice. When Blue Jean Friday was introduced we selected 5 local (Abbotsford based) charities. From those 5, employees voted on which charity we should support and the winner was the Abbotsford Food Bank. Since we've started Blue Jean Friday, the support has been fantastic!
As the holiday season is quickly approaching us, not only are we collecting just cash donations from employees but we are also collecting non-perishable food donations for the food bank. Triple Eight Transport has also agreed to match all cash donations! We are hoping to continue Blue Jean Friday for years to come, and every 3-4 months we will be selecting different local charities to support.
